The most used APP in Refrigeration.
KoolApp Refrigerant Slider (DANFOSS A / S)
This application is very easy and intuitive and stands out for its usability. It consists of a quick and easy converter of temperature coolant pressure. It is designed for installers and distributors of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, but can also be useful for other industry professionals and students.
In the current version there are more than 60 different refrigerants, including both HFC's, HC's and HFO's, so it covers almost all refrigerants currently on the market, normally used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Perform the conversions where you will be able to see both dew points and bubble points for slip coolants.
The most relevant information that facilitates this application for each of the refrigerants included is:
- The Atmospheric Warming Potential (PCA, GWP)
- The Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP)
- The critical temperature
- The boiling point
In addition, you can select the temperature in ° C and bar or F ° and the pressure in Bar or PSI.
The operation is very simple, either by the slider or by entering the temperature or pressure directly.
Toolbocks, Designed for Experts in the Refrigeration Industry
It is an application specially designed for the experts of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
The application offers you the following functions:
- Power
converter - Length
converter
- Thrust converter
- Tube diameter converter - Coolant calculator

QuickFinder (CAREL INDUSTRIES SRL)
This is a very powerful tool for refrigeration technicians who handle equipment with Carel technology for refrigeration applications.
It has a home screen where you can quickly search the computer or reference, without having to enter the start menu.
In its screen of "codes" it shows four families of products covering almost all its range. Once we select the family offers us five possibilities related to the controller, such as alarms, configuration parameters, codes and descriptions, where selecting them we offer wiring diagrams and type of connections. We will also be able to simulate the manipulation of the main buttons and their operation and finally, we will have access to the documentation where we are going to the web page of Carel. In the first three functions the application allows us a very simple way to send a pdf by email.
In this application, Carel refers to other products on the market offering an alternative in their equipment and makes a complete comparison of compatible instruments.
In its final screen offers a tool to select the most suitable solution depending on the application: refrigerated chamber, refrigerated cabinet, refrigerated counters and cabinets, and bottle cooler. The application suggests the most appropriate Carel product, and consequently, it is of great help in the selection process for the dealer and the installer.
KoolCode ( DANFOSS A / S)
Save time and increase productivity. With this application, in a moment you will have all the information of the drivers of the brand Danfoss. It offers all kinds of alarms and information related to its popular codes within the world of refrigeration.
You can find the most popular devices and also offers the possibility of scanning QR codes so that you can identify the fastest driver.
The only drawback is that it is not in Spanish, but if you are used to examining technical documentation in English, it will still be very useful.
Error codes ( HITACHI AIR CONDITIONING)
It offers the possibility of use in five languages, so you can have all the documentation in Spanish, and although the translation is not well finished, it is perfectly understood.
By selecting the model in the products section, the corresponding page is downloaded with all types of fault codes, and has a section called "help" where you can see where to locate the models in both indoor and outdoor units, indicates where to look for fault codes, controls, electronic boards, etc., depending on the model.
Finally it has a news utility that takes you to social networks or to your web page.
PT Chart Refrigerants EU (HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL, INC.)
This application allows to select between nineteen refrigerant gases commercialized by Honeywell. Before starting you can select several variables to obtain information such as the unit that we want to show the temperature, or pressure.
Once the type of refrigerant gas has been selected, we will have different options such as the feature button that gives us details such as the type of refrigerant, formulation, oil normally used, among other data of interest. offers in pdf format a very complete safety data sheet. Finally there is another environmental safety button where when pressed, we will know data such as PCA ODP, flammability, etc.
The application has a button where the contact details are displayed in order to contact the company.
This app we only found for iOS (iPhone / iPad), although for Android is available its sister: PT Chart.
Toshiba Fault Codes (TOSHIBA CARRIER UK LTD.)
It is a very simple application that allows, depending on the error code, to trace the meaning of the fault codes, as well as to provide help for solving problems of the air conditioning systems of this brand.
It is in three languages besides Castilian, and allows to select the language once you are in the screen of use.
RSL (by NICK POOLE)
The brand Refrigerant Solution LTD. has made this application for four of its most commercialized refrigerants, which have in common being direct substitutes in many of its applications. They are the RS44, 24, 52 and 45.
For each of the refrigerants gives us the pressure / temperature relationship where we can choose the units in temperature and pressure, or see the absolute or relative pressures. We like the Retrofit button where it explains the steps to follow for direct replacement of refrigerants, and also has a useful section of information about RS products and a contact for consultations.
The only downside is that it is in English.
URSA AIR Calculator (DARK DELTA SYSTEMS, INC.)
This tool allows, on the one hand, the calculation of thermal load, and on the other, allows to apply a rule of calculation to dimension ducts.
In the calculation of thermal load, the application allows to evaluate the refrigeration load of a room, office or home, from the description of its enclosures, windows, occupation, type of cover, shading, etc. Depending on the data entered, the application offers a result that can be used as a reference when dimensioning the air conditioning equipment to be installed. This is an approximate and indicative data.
In the section of the application of the calculation rule, it allows to enter the flow rate, the speed and the section height, and gives you the results of section width and pressure drop. The following buttons can be made high and wide equivalents, and the last button allows you to vary the section height by changing the width and speed.
This app is very useful to get alternatives, very agile, in the design of conduits.
Daikin Codes (DAIKIN FRANCE)
This mobile application allows users to insert fault codes for a very wide range of Daikin brand equipment, from split or casette type to variable coolant volume machines, including the Altherma range.
Among other applications, it identifies the errors and provides help for solving the problems of the different systems, also providing a screen for the adjustment codes of the equipment, and allowing to test the probes by their ohmic value.
In addition, it offers a small helpful tutorial of operation.
Mobile Technician (FUJITSU GENERAL LIMITED)
This App has several utilities, on the one hand problem solving, depending on whether the equipment is conventional (RAC and PAC models) or variable coolant volume (VRF). Selecting the type of unit gives you the type of error depending on where you are checking the equipment, whether on the indoor unit, outdoor unit, remote control or bypass box.
On the other hand has a utility screen where you can see the conversion of the value of the thermistor, or pressure probes, so you can check all these elements.
It also has the pressure-temperature correlation for four refrigerant gases: R22, R32, R410A and R407C. The values are in relative pressure, very useful for the installer, but we find to lack more types of gases in this section.
Complete the usability with the option of flashlight that we believe in some case may be useful.
This app has only been found available for iOS (iPhone / iPad). We miss the Android app.
